new behaviour: cookies on website and on modportal wont work anymore at all. Besides the 'bug' I posted above, now nearly every time I open the website new I have to log-in again. Surprisingly I am able to log me in with my normal username&pw from standalone and dont have to use my steamacc to login. But after a while; login is gone again.

Also: the errors from the modpage now are behind the nav-tabs:

New web site design is bad, but it could be done much worse.
Old one was much better.
Can you be more specific?
I'm not a web designer, so it might be a little hard to explain, but I try.

For sample, here a good site. https://mmos.com/news

mmorpg.com, before redesign a few months ago was not bad one, but might be because I got used to it. After redesign it's absolutely unreadable.

In current Factorio web design, two, sometimes more columns of blocs confuse me - I dunno witch one to look on, while I scroll down.

More simple design, with drop down menu on top, main blocks of text with optional pictures one-by-one going from top to bottom, and, depending on site, some small list on a right side (like ranked or alphabetical game list) is good enough.

I came here to report that the same happens when you successfully log in, to that green "success" message.

Also that the mod site does not remember logins, nor offer the ability to.

There is no harm in using JavaScript to make parts of the website interactive, and of course many web applications wouldn't be possible with it.
did you mean "without it"?
