An idea for the Liquid Mixing Dilemma, by doing an extension to the pipe logic and adding a new structure.What ?
The idea is to add an extra "slot" of sorts for the pipes to handle more than one liquids at once, but keeps the extra liquids within it separate, now combine this with a structure or a pipe, that has the capacity to filter these liquids to separate pipe networks.Why ?
This is to address the issue that piping logistics does not have any form of filtration/separation logic in current factories, although this is true for anything to do with pipes, not just liquids.If this change is done, this will treat the pipes with a more similar capacity to belts, which already can handle two items simultaneously, and has filtration/separation logic too.
Extra, somewhat unrelated idea:
Just change the design of the Beacons to be based on the power system, this way you can redesign the model to be more like a power transmitter box or something.
additionally, i believe the name "Amplifier" might be more fitting for this, rather than "Beacon".
Other:
I have only played the game for about 150~ hours recorded on steam, so i have reached the end game once or twice, and know a few things, but certainly not experienced enough to know any meta tricks or anything.
but i came here from reading an announcement on steam and this dilemma gave me the idea, that i wanted to share, which is very rare, as i do not come onto forums, or post comments and such.
