Larger Chests 5x5, 2x2

Post by Mur »

I was playing Krastrio 2 and I found that I really liked having the larger chests, they are good for loading and unloading trains and with a loader mod you can do stuff like load a belt of ore from a miner into a chest and output multiple times onto a line.

I suggest having a 2x2 chest and a 5x5.

I'll just write it down on my ideas list, and if I feel like doing that when I'm going through the list next, it might happen.

Another point to this is that there is only one mod that give a 5x5 chest right now. The art isnt that great though.

I would recommend mod Wide chests:

You can then create various sized chests including nice 1xN ones for train stations.

I would recommend editing mod options to limit chest size area or it will generate a lot of entity prototypes.
And set a limit on chest slots amount to something sensible - chests with a lot of inventory slots can be a performance problem.
