[Twinsen] [0.18.14] Chat text retains old colors after character color changed

In-game chat retains original character color after the color is changed in new character GUI.
I changed my character color from Orange to Green in the new character GUI. Map reflects this color change, but the in-game chat still shows orange

1. Launch game
2. Change character color to any other color

I assume that based on the map text color changing that the chat color would change and reflect the new character color as well.

Do you mean text you typed in chat before the color change does not change afterwards?

Text typed after the color change. In other words, I change my character to blue and type something in the MP chat and the chat color is still orange instead of blue. My friend changed his color from red to purple and his chat text is still red.

Regardless of the color of my character, or other character colors, the color stays orange, red, etc. I can upload a picture if that would help.

Is there anything you can do to "force" the change in color to change in chat consistently?
If you save/load the game does the color in chat update?

Nope, I've never seen the chat color change. Always stays orange for me as the host and red for him. I've changed my character color a dozen times to see if anything changes it.
