A couple of my friends and I are trying to play factorio together. One of them hosts it, everybody else joins, but I can't (even though I see it in "public games"). What is going on?
We are playing 0.18.15, both accounts official, etc. (he has it on Steam while I don't, but that shouldn't be a problem I think)
I know we could try port forwarding etc., but everyone else can join so I think the problem is on my side, what can I do?

The non-steam version doesn't like playing with the steam version, might have something to do with your ports not being forwarded
