How to start with Py + Bob + Angel

Hi @ll, and thanks for all this great MODS! :)

In my current game i try to start a the combination off all Bobs, Angels and Py mods. By all the mod-based changes it is not easy to orient. Now after 5 hours play my base has a small eco for first science.

So lets Build same Automation science Pack. You only need Glassware and Basic subsrate. EASY MAN! :D
Wait for Glassware you need Rubber stoppers :?: Never hear about something like this.
Hm, for Rubber stoppers I need Latex.
For Latex I need Latex slap.
For Latex slab I need Sodium algnite, Creamy latex and Formic acid. Holy shit we talk over handcrafted basic sciences! :D
For Sodium alignate I need Limstone and Seaweed.
For Creamy latex I need Sap.
For Formic acid I need Carbon Dioxide.
I really like such a crazy complexity!!! :twisted:

But do I need for Seaweed a Seaweed crop Facility MK 01? If I understand it right, the facility itself needs Simple circuit boards for witch I need the electronics technology... :roll:

So how do you make your first science?

You can hand craft basic circuits using a simple recipe. To automate them takes an advanced process if you're playing with Py High Tech. It's possible Bobs/Angels changes that to make it easier but I've never played them all together.

I have played Bod + Angel for a long time and I relay like them. A short while ago, I have heard from the big Py mods. So now I test them! :)
It would be relay funny if they work together. At the moment look the Py Mods more complex as the Bob and Angel together! :D
Finally if I can build same basic circuits, the base building can begin!


Hey you are right, I have a recipe for basic circuits. 8-)
The recipe is not for handcrafting, it is for a chipshooter machine.
But the recipe need a ceramic capacity. So I need Ceramic, but for ceramic I need Basic electronics again! :lol:

As far as I understand, PyCoal TBAA is probably not set up for PyAL yet. Before PyAL it worked, and yeah circuit 1 was a bit of a mess but workable, to my knowledge.

That being said, in the end ABPy is easier than Py. The very early game is harder just because there's more stuff you need to get online to get moving, but in the end ABPy is basically a big exercise in "how do I use Py recipes as little as possible?". Accordingly I usually encourage people to play Py without other overhauls included.

Step 1: Install Py
Step 2: Uninstall Bobs & Angels

They overlap each other and you lose the balance that the authors intended.

Either play Bobs & Angels or play Py ... they aren't designed or meant to work together.

Seriously if you havnt already played py by itself. Do that, pycoaltbaa is a hot mess and I'm currently focusing on pyal.

I also try this recently and I find what we need
- angel bob override limestone with solid-lime and disable limestone recipe

so you could not create limeston from water
you can disable this and make limestone from water.
for better balance, disable of replacing first science pack and add py-automation science pack to py-tech could be better...
