just a question since the map editor is realy confusing for me:
is there a way to make the resources 1000 without having to place them at 50 and then add with "F" untill it reaches 1000?

when i place resources i get too bored with placing all resources to 1000, so i just make them -50 or so. the way the system works is that you end up with practically unlimited ore
