[0.17.79] Crash: "!this->reservedSignals.empty() was not true"

Post by Pbenz2 »

I cannot seem to resolve this issue. I did not add/remove/modify any mods (except for in testing to find the issue of the repeated crashing. I can load into a game and sit idle for 10-30 minutes and the game will crash. All drivers are up to date, and I am not using any overlays. FPS/UPS is 60/60. Only major change I made was adding about 40 LTN (Logistic Train Network mod) stations. I left the game running idle for 2 days, returned to the game, added a small factory and about 40 LTN stops.

So it seems that when my logistic bots are moving items around, the game crashes. I only have about 1000 logistic bots in my network... crashed my game within 3 minutes when I setup a requester and passive provider chest full of iron plates...

I believe I uploaded the save, although im not positive I did that right.

If I did, the game will crash within 5 minutes on that test save. Also that save cannot be loaded vanilla.

  • Navigate to your saves folder, if you can not find it see my signature
  • Search for the file "LESSMOD.zip"
  • Upload the complete file NOT RANDOM CONTENTS OF THE ARCHIVE to google-drive or another file hoster
  • Post a public link to that file here in the topic

1/ You did not give any extra details about how to reproduce this issue other than "within 5 minutes" or "after 10-30 minutes". If you can reliably reproduce this issue, please prepare save file that is before a crash for as little as you can (best possible case is save file with time paused in editor, 1 tick before a crash).
2/ There is one mod "Power-Reach 0.0.1" that is not on mod portal so i cannot reproduce this issue with given save file. Everything seems to be unpowered

I removed most of the mods, and the game seems to be running reliably now. I couldn't give any details on how to produce the crash, because the game would crash regardless of what I did. I could let the game run, without me touching a single key after I loaded the game, and it would crash. I also just realized the Power-Reach 0.0.1 is a mod I created to extend the bigpowerpole's reach to 16, enough to cover an entire chunk.

I am sure I am frustrating everyone trying to help me, and for that I am extremely sorry. I really appreciate your help, even though I was not much help to you.
