[RESOLVED] [0.18.4] Graphics experience

Last night something drastically changed for me. I logged in and loaded my map (started from version 0.18.0, tech'd to rocket launch) to find it running at 30FPS/60UPS, with it significantly struggling when walking about my little factory. This shouldn't be. I'm using one of those gaming laptops, an MSI GS63VR, i7/16GB/1060w6GB/etc. I've never had a problem running Factorio before except maybe a bug here and there as would be expected from using experimental versions. But never a graphics issue. I haven't touched the game's graphics settings for years.

I checked my game's graphics settings, found that if I turn off V-Sync it'll go back to 60FPS/60UPS, but with a lot of stuttering.

I couldn't spend much time debugging it; with what little time I had played with the stuttering so I could get my goals for the map done for the night. There's still a lot more I can check/troubleshoot (there maybe a GPU driver update, haven't tried reloading 0.18.3, haven't tried lower graphics settings, haven't reviewed my display settings, etc.) to track down the cause of the stuttering, so I'm not really asking for help, but was wondering if anyone has a similar experience (stuttering) with the 0.18.4 version?

Do you shut down your laptop or do you just put it to sleep? - Or have you restarted the computer to see if the issue persists after the fresh boot?
Have you been running from batter or AC? Can you post the log? Have your graphics driver updated recently? Have Windows updated recently?

I don't how it got there but the card was set to 30Hz. I updated the graphics driver and reset the card to 60Hz. Now I'm back to the usual experience. Thanks.
