I started a game with replay recording turned on. For the most part, it worked fine and i could record everything up to the rocket launch and beyond.
However i noticed recently that the recording is now broken after my characters death and subsequent respawn(which is a bit strange in itself, because as far as i remember i always reloaded a save if i died). From this point onward, what the replay recorded is essentially garbage and nonsense(you can see my character running into the trees and trying to build some rail tracks in the wrong spot/disconnected from my rail network).
the save file and latest logfile are in attachments

Re: [0.17.79] replay saves garbage after death(?)
I'd like to restore the recording, if it's at all possible (looks like most of data is still there except for one corrupted section), or if its not feasible, how do i switch off the record function then, because all that it does now is inflating my save files?
Re: [0.17.79] replay saves garbage after death(?)
Looks like game.disable_replay() might disable it:

Disables replay saving for the current save file. Once done there's no way to re-enable replay saving for the save file without loading an old save.
I have mods! I guess!

I am sorry, but it isn't worth our time to look into replay corruptions like this
