Hi all,
Sorry if this is an often discussed topic, but I've been working on this problem for some time.
If you check the screenshot, the pumps are properly attached to the tank wagons, and the pipes are properly attached to the tanks.
The pipes on the other side of the tanks even show the crude oil symbol on the them (using the Alt key), and yet it looks like the tanks are obstinately staying empty. Hovering the mouse on the tanks, they do report "Crude oil: 0/500", so they should be set up to be filled in. The train is set to Automatic mode.
So what's missing?

Re: Crude oil tank not working
If you want to fill tanks with crude oil from fluid wagons, then you have to rotate pumps so they are setup to unload. Right now they are loading crude oil into fluid wagons

Re: Crude oil tank not working
@boskid: That worked, thanks!
I didn't know these worked both ways, I thought the blue arrow was where the tank was supposed to be

Re: Crude oil tank not working
As a suggestion, I would recommend having the pumps empty into a storage tank each so the train can shorten its stop as pipe can only hold so much at a time. Pumps can move 200 fluid per tick but at best pipes can only hold 100 fluid at a time...
