As far as I know the only way to remove an item from the hotbar is with the Inventory bound command "Toggle Filter". I wanted to remove something with right click (left click adds filter or selects the item, right click removes), but I don't think I can.
The quickbar isn't a part of the inventory anymore, so putting the commands there would be convenient for me to find.
Err edit:
I can bind the Toggle filter for right-click, but since right-click also opens armor, it might get conflicting (not like I'd assign armor to my quickbar, so maybe it's moot)
Have separate command for "Set filter"/"Remove filter" for quickbar

Have separate command for "Set filter"/"Remove filter" for quickbar
I have mods! I guess!

Re: Have separate command for "Set filter"/"Remove filter" for quickbar
Since you are setting filters, I‘m pretty sure the middle mousekey should delete them in the hotbar by default. Or is this the „toggle filter“ command you were referring to?

I don't have a middle mousebutton X( . I do have a mouse4/5, but they're less convenient than just right-clicking to clear (like how it removes things from machines, etc).conn11 wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2019 8:20 am Since you are setting filters, I‘m pretty sure the middle mousekey should delete them in the hotbar by default. How inconvenient, mouse wheels (and middle mousbuttons) struck me as something practical.Honktown wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2019 8:36 amI don't have a middle mousebutton X( . How about assigning opening armor to some lesser used keys? You shouldn’t do it that much after all.

That's a good idea. I was thinking if I tried to open an armor in the inventory, it may trigger the filter, but I could just change THAT command instead.conn11 wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2019 11:47 amHow inconvenient, mouse wheels (and middle mousbuttons) struck me as something practical.Honktown wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2019 8:36 amI don't have a middle mousebutton X( . Also, I don't even remember what right-clicking ingredients in assemblers and stuff does, if that didn't make sense. Brain's fried. Mouse I use is for for ergonomic reasons (trackball).
