It took me more than four months to realize that you devs don't even have a studio name! Funny thing is, I was thinking about what the studio was called a few times now, but i couldn't remember... Now I tried to look it up and just realized: There isn't one! (or am I completely retarded and overlooked it completely?)

I mean, it's not really THAT important for now, but maybe, at least before Factorio hits Steam, some kind of studio name is in order. Or do you want to be called "the Factorio guys" for all time? If you can get half as much creative energy into your next title, I don't think you will be a One-Hit-Wonder at all! Go ahead and find a name already!

BTW: If you couldn't come up with one so far, maybe the forum could help with some brainstorming...? Although I think something like a name for your team should be more personal. But maybe a few ideas could help you find something that's fitting.

Is that the official name? Couldn't find it anywhere else (about, copyright, FAQ, and so on). And even if so, they are not doing a great job in publishing it in any way, shape or form Even Factorio starts without any hint on the developers name.

To be honest, in my opinion that name would be terrible. Not even sure if they need a name, but it should not contain "factorio". That would just create problems.

Wube seems great. Easy to remember, short and not directly attached to anything in specific. I like it, exactly how a name should be. Maybe could also pick a name that has a relation with something (Blizzard,Activision, Google, Microsoft, EA) or not (Coke, Pepsi).

So the name of the studio is Wube Software. We officially started it quite recently, therefore it is still not anywhere on the webpage. But we will make an announcement at some point probably in the FFF.
