Gas vent doesn't work with steam?

Why do gas vents not work with steam? Polybutadiene production produces 60 deg steam, and this can't be vented with gas vents?

not really meant to vent the steam. its intend that you cool it back to water with a cooling tower or if you really want to get rid of it tailing ponds will vent all gases including steam

Or you can get that steam power out of it by mixing 60°C steam with hotter steam so that the resulting mix is over 100°C !

165 needed for boilers or turbines , also thee effective power is 45 compared to 150 or normal steam so unless u want to use fuel rods you wont get that much power bonus , also this means you need nuclear power to begin with

Was that changed in 0.17 ?
That's still free energy, and a way to get rid of steam (though I guess that sometimes you'll want to take the energy hit and even spend extra energy to have a closed loop water cycle instead...)

for turbines to work the temp musr be at least 165
so to increase the 60 one u eitheer mix it with 500 steam or burn fuel rods.

to get 500 steam u need nuclear setup
