0. On a 3000x2000px screen
1. Beforehand, change Factorio to Windowed mode.
2. Open Factorio by right clicking the Steam icon in the taskbar > Factorio
3. Factorio starts and extends slightly past my screen at both top and bottom (see screenshot)
Expected behavior:
Game window fits entirely inside the screen.
Edit: I assume it happens on any 3:2 monitor, but due Windows being Windows (refusing anything but native resolution and 16:{9, 10}), there is no easy way for me to check if it reproduces on lower resolutions.

Re: [17.66] Windowed mode sticks outside screen on 3:2 monitors
Thank you for taking the time to post the bug report.
The problem is not 3:2 monitor, the problem is desktop scaling option you have in combination with screen pixels height you have.
The window controls are still accessible, so it is really just a minor issue.

Re: [17.66] Windowed mode sticks outside screen on 3:2 monitors
Changing the desktop scaling to 100% reduces the problem, but does NOT totally remove the issue. See screenshot
And yes, it is only a (very) minor issue, totaling a total of a 2 second annoyance, I simply missed the existence of this subforum.

You posted it correctly to the root Bug reports forum. We are sorting the reports to the subforums ourselves.joha4270 wrote: Wed Aug 28, 2019 3:21 pm And yes, it is only a (very) minor issue, totaling a total of a 2 second annoyance, I simply missed the existence of this subforum.
