I made a blueprint with a train in it, but without station names. The blueprint also included a station that the train was supposed to go to.
When I placed the blueprint, the station names in the trains schedule referred to the OLD names, and not the newly placed stations.
When placing a train with a blueprint, where that blueprint DOES NOT include station names, AND the schedules for that train includes a station that is also in the blueprint, the newly created train's schedule should refer to the newly created randomly named station, not the old station.
I was trying to create a drop in pocket factory with all supplies by train already included. This would also be quite useful for creating smelter setups, with transport out to the warehouse already provided by train, but it didn't work so I kinda gave up on the idea of adding trains into my blueprints. In fact, I'm having trouble imagining a scenario where you would want the current behavior over the expected behavior.
Train blueprints should correct station names.

Re: Train blueprints should correct station names.
Thanks for the report however that's not how blueprints work and is not something we're looking to change.
A train schedule in a blueprint has absolutely no relation to what train stops may or may not exist in the blueprint and you should make no assumptions about their relationship.

It would be rather nice though. Especially for LTN. Make a blueprint of a LTN Depot with train(s) but without station names. Then when you put it down the trains would automatically belong to the new depot. If they could be put on automatic when blueprinted that would make it perfect. Blueprint it and it works out of the box.Rseding91 wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2019 11:10 am Thanks for the report however that's not how blueprints work and is not something we're looking to change.

It would also mesh with the feature requests to keep station names in blueprints even when not being used so they can be toggled on/off later. And the feature request to give the same (pseudo) random name to station if the original of a blueprint had the same names too. Code wise it shouldn't be too hard to change any station name in the schedules of trains ifrom the original name in the bleuprint to the one used on the map.
