I managed to block the material flow on the splitter:
First I put the steel the wrong lane where I expected the engines to go and when I noticed It already filled up.
I think here I copied a little bit right here also since I intend to put there a beacon. (But I didn't yet cleaned up)
Then I put the correct lane the steel and cleaned up the blocking steel.
And then the engines just don't move through the splitter.
I suspect the steel blocks it on the bottom line, but if there is another reason, here is how I managed it:[0.17.49] Blokking splitter when filter added

Not a bug
Upper lane is blocked by steel plates. If you let lower output belt to output all non-engine items, it will work again. Maybe you do not see steel plates, but they are there and are blocking spliter. Spliter can not output steel plates on upper belt because it is set to output only engines, and cannot output steel plates on lower belt because it is output blocked on both lanes
