[0.10.9] level.dat grows in savegame

[0.10.9] level.dat grows in savegame

When playing with hard settings (big and rich biters nests)
settings used
using a seed like 1337 with a great expanse of water for the biters to navigate,
map
the savegame grows rather big causing great lag during autosave.

Somehow the game manages to reduce the size the second time a manual save was performed.

6 autosaves + 2 manual saves, + readme + Fish.HardMode + map

Hello, I tested the save 7_autosave1, and when I loaded it in 0.11.6 and saved it the zip went from 80Mb to 16Mb, so I guess it is related to bug (probably too hungry pathfinder caching) solved.

Something to do with biters trying to pathfind from the far side of the crescent lake when pollution extends that far?
Given biters' reluctance to pathfind around any wall wider than a few tiles in either direction, this seemed like an eventual problem to me for awhile now.
