0.17.36 shift-left mouse button transfer item to player quickbar not working

in 0.16 shift-left mouse button with player gui open transfered between player inventories effectively moving an item to the quickbar

in 0.17.36 as the quickbar is no longer another inventory nothing happens

in 0.17.36 in Settings-Controls-Inventory-Stack transfer the tooltip or blue "information" icon for the shows text "or if your player GUI is open - transfers all of the selected stack type between the player inventories".

I don't understand what exactly is the bug. Or, what would you expect to happen. As you already noticed, the quickbar isn't an inventory, so shift-click doesn't and can't move there, which is also a good thing, since it fixes the problem of moving to trash slots versus moving to quickbar.

Thanks for the attention. The bug is in two parts.

There is no longer a shortcut for moving an item to the quickbar, expected behaviour from 0.16 is broken; at least for me I liked and used this behaviour and noticed immediately that it was missing.

The tooltip text in the settings is incorrect.

If you mean moving the item to the first empty quickbar slot, then no, there isn't such a shortcut, mainly to make it more explicit where you put them.

The tooltip still seems to be correct, as you can use it to move between your inventories:

• Main inventory
• Armor inventory
• Gun inventory
• Ammo inventory
• Trash slots inventory

Fair enough. I guess I am just lazy wanting not wanting to drag an item all the way from the inventory to the quickbar or resistant to change!
I don't suppose its worth putting in a feature request for shortcut key for this? I'll take no reply as don't bother.

I mean, since the whole point of the quickbar is to be a place where you place items to hotkey and use, I don't see much of a point in making a hotkey for the transfer *to* the quickbar. It seems pretty redundant to me. Also, the right way to use the quickbar is to put items in different slots and switch between the 10 slots as necessary, not to keep adding different items to the quickbar.
