industry update will bring new tiers of poles, tiles, tanks, robots, pipes etc...maybe even a train.

alternative energy will bring solar, wind, geothermal and other types of energy generation not coal/oil/nuclear based.

I think PY Alternative Energy - PYAE - will be very small mod, trying to imagine what we can invent with in terms of inventing ways to extract energy - PYFE introduced many things to work with it

In any case, I voted for Industry Upgrades. Based on Py's description, that seems a good way to flesh out and tie together what currently already exists in the pymod suite.


Pyanodon, could you comment on the size of each of the three options? And what does Alien Life entail? Thanks!

Which of the options will add the most alternate production pathways? Right now what I feel is missing isn't so much more content as more choices. For all the new stuff in pymods, once you start planning out "A needs B, B needs C, C needs D..." it's pretty linear. A critter that crapped out aramid, or industrial-scale processes that made just a little bit of stainless steel or just a little phosphoric acid as side products would be a welcome addition.

I'm going to second romotos. I think Alien Life will add some nice option to replace existing chains. However, I think that adding more options on the base building side via industry will be more beneficial right now than new chains.

If it comes down to a tie, I'd like to change my vote from AL to Industry. I thought about it more and changed my mind after I voted for AL. Wish I could change my vote now.
