Game won't start

Hello everyone, I've been playing Factorio for about 2-3 weeks. I just came across an issue where I cannot even launch the game. As soon as the splash screen pops up windows tells me it has crashed.

I am Running Windows 8 running and NVidia Graphics card

What version do you use? Also, please post the content of your log file here.
