In-game username changed to Steam name?

Hello everyone,

There is something that has bothered me for a while. I bought the game a few years back before the Steam release. When it was released on Steam I received the e-mail about a Steam key. So I wanted to use the key and linked my Factorio account with the Steam account. Afterwards I launched the game and started playing. Then I realised that my in-game username was changed to the name my Steam account had. I already tried renaming the Steam account but it had no effects. Is there any way I can revert my in-game username back to its original name?
