- Require food to feed the people. Can be basic farms and food processing plants as well as water treatment

- Add more building types for the population. Some kind of living quarters like barracks, cafeteria, medical bay, entertainment, farm facilities, lookout towers and pillboxes
- Ability to create waypoints for units and robots to patrol
- Option to have resources nodes like the oil for unlimited resources of that type but the rate decreases after some time like the oil
- Mobile resource harversters. Think command and conquer
