Not sure if this has been reported already. I searched but found no matches.
PROBLEM:
- Shift-click and Ctrl-click do not send Artillery Shells to trash slots.
WORKAROUNDS:
- If you drag one by one, they go to trash fine.
- If you have auto-trash active for artillery shells, they go to trash fine. This is the easiest.

I think they're getting there...
The most recent FFF talks about the continued work on this GUI, but the problem you're speaking to specifically is "known" and it's something they're working toward making better.
