I was thinking this too, but, up is forward and down is reverse ;PTekky wrote: Thu Apr 04, 2019 4:41 pm For example, pressing left will always cause the player to exit to the west of the train, and pressing right will always cause the player to exit to the east. Pressing up will cause the player to always exit to the north, pressing down will cause the player to exit to the south.

Re: Train Exit Side
Re: Train Exit Side
i´d love to chose the side
After almost 3000h and alot of rail travelling, I still didn´t get used to exiting on the left side like some previous posters said.
Its not logical to me, since the station building is on the right side, as well as signals.
LHD or RHD shouldn´t be a factor, those are completely different things, mostly chosen for something completely different than exit PAX train. I use RHD, i just find it easier to signal and i always use new designs, so no BP books for me
Not knowing that it once WAS "exit to the right", and after reading the whole thread, i still dont get why this even was a thing that bothered anyone at Wube
And forced it on the players, rather than giving them an option, in a game with so many options.
