Is this bug fixed? You have taken away 0.17.12 on steam and now I can't play because it crashes when I load a save game from 0.17.12.
(A nice man on reddit pointed out 0.17.12 is still on the website)

Your save has 2 accumulators with identical unit numbers - something which is never supposed to be possible (because it is meant to be a unique identifier for player-owned entiites).
I notice from the log file that it was created at or before version 0.15.37 - do you have any of the previous working versions? Also, do you know what might have caused one of the accumulators to get a duplicated unit number? From everything in the games logic that should never happen so the only ways I know of it happening are: memory corruption, disk corruption, or something like cheat-engine to modify process memory runtime.

Yes this game started in 0.15 I believe I started it when 0.15 first went stable. I have save games that were 0.16.51 and pre moving to 0.17 if you want to see if it's a moving it from 0.16 to 0.17 thing. Maybe one of the upgrade scripts is to blame. I seem to have a single save game from 27/10/2017 maybe that's a 0.15 file. To be honest I don't know what you mean by previous versions that work. They all work just can't be moved past 0.17.12.
I have never used mods or anything like that or changed the save file. I do stuff completely vanilla with the exception of using the 0.16 experimental (I really wanted that artillery train) and now 0.17 experimental.
If it's a case of just one accumulator with a weird id. Could you not just tell me which one I'll go remove it and put it in a box and shoot it until it's gone.

Removing the accumulator in your save would cause the same issue. If you have no idea how it got into that state I can modify the save while it's loading to fix the accumulator and get you a fixed save.
Do you really not have any other versions of that save? I always find it strange when people only keep 1 instance of a save around. I have like 350 save files from my playthroughs. Every save is a new save

I have 7 versions of this after moving to 0.17 but all of these are newer than the version your looking at.
I have 10 versions of it pre moving to 0.17 which are all 0.16.51
I also have around 10 saves from special moments like when I ripped out all the nuclear power from the base. Including the one I mentioned in the previous post from 2017.
Also if you look at my previous posts on this site most of them are for crashes when moving to 0.17 and all of them list other save game files from after moving to 0.17 and before going to 0.17.12. If you want one of those just click the link they are still all valid links as far as I know.
If the solution is to edit the save game file may I post a new save game file. The one on this post is very old and the one on the duplicate post is newer but sill massively out of date.
