PVP Setup on a Server

I want to play on the same map as a pal. I got it working on a GM8 server with vanilla, no mods, but now I'd like to try it with the PVP scenario.

Problem is, when I login to the server, I don't see how to load the PVP scenario. Is this a limitation of the server host I've chosen?

Can someone tell me, step by step, the easiest way to get the PVP scenario up and running on a server? I was thinking the easiest way would be to rent a server that is already "setup" for factorio, but maybe that's not possible?

Does the server let you upload a save game?

You can start the PvP scenario, save it, and start with that save game
