[Not actually a bug] [0.17.14] Blueprinted trains do not copy automatic state of automatic/manual toggle

Post by knightelite »

What I did: Made a blueprint of a train that had automatic set to on. Blueprint contained only trains, fuel and rails. The train blueprinted had a valid schedule. Made a copy of the train via the blueprint, and set it a few tiles back from the next station in the blueprinted train's schedule.

What did I expect: Train would move up to the station due to having automatic flag checked when I made the blueprint.

What happened: Train did not move until I opened the GUI on it and toggled the automatic/manual flag to automatic.

This one may well be working as intended currently, but it seems like copying the state of the automatic flag would be nice for people who are copy/pasting a lot of trains.

Seems so, thanks! I even did a search, but somehow didn't find that one.

Nah, all good. Something seems up with the forum search lately... viewtopic.php?f=55&t=67087

I've been resorting to using google via: "site:forums.factorio.com inurl:f=7 <keywords>" to attempt to limit results to the Bug Reports forum... but even that failed me this time. I ended up Ctrl+F'ing back through a few pages of the Not a Bug subforum as I remember seeing it recently. Hopefully search is fixed soon. Seems to be leading to a lot of unnecessary dupes.
