[0.17.12] Stuck in tutorial. Can't make Science Packs

I am stuck in the new tutorial.

They want me to research Basic Electronics, which requires 10 Automation Science Packs (Red). Unfortunately, I have no Sciencs Packs and I can not build any myself. It is listed in the crafting menu, but it is tinted red and when I click on it I get a messages saying that I can not build it myself.

How am I supposed to proceed?

I believe you're supposed to use the machines in the world to craft the science packs.

I hit ALT and one of the machines was set up to manufacture the science pack.
