Low resolution option is gone T^T

There were 'low' and 'very low' options on before, but they disappeared from 0.17

Can't we get this option rollback to the way it was? A low-spec PC user is crying now...

It is gone. Any DX10/OpenGL 3.3 GPU should be able to run the game on normal res and low quality texture compression. What is your computer spec?

If you have performance problems, Try change video memory usage to High or All.

Maybe my laptop is not good enough to run factorio. There was no problem when I selected 'low' option, so I didn't have any complaints before. It's just time to give up my old laptop and get new pc... thanks for reply anyway!

Based on my experience, where as for .16 I had to run on normal resolution, .17 works just find on high resolution now.

I checked the patch notes, and there were several optimizations done internally where memory usage is more efficient allowing for better resolution on lower end machines and graphic cards. The biggest issue I see playing on a laptop is the screen resolution hard limit on the laptop screen.
