TL;DR
I have a personal train that thinks it's a line-haul train at all times and that I, the human player, and something of an inconvenience.Allow us to toggle a locomotive into "personal train" mode that changes default at-arrival behavior at trainstop destinations
I play in a map that is already large and is only about 20% complete according to our megabase design goals. We have more than a hundred trainstops, each one individually named according to an easily scrollable and searchable convention format that we've agreed to. Each one is located intelligently, and all areas of the map are accessible by PAX stops, to prevent any need for manual driving through train intersections that have multiple crossing lanes and very well-tested rail signals. There is a lot to do, in this game based on automation, that can be done while riding in an autopiloted train. Why ?
Every time I select a stop, I have to manually specify "await circuit condition" because the game doesn't contemplate the usage-scenario of "I want my personal train to sit there until I actually tell it to move, "passenger detected" or not. I have to remember to MANUALLY SET THE TRAIN TO MANUAL at a temp-stop or else the train will say "bye, I waited for five seconds, you're not worth more time, and I don't trust your judgment that this is a safe location to wait indefinitely."And don't get me started with scenarios of having multiple temp-stop locations in my train manifest, all unidentifiable except by the map coordinates that don't correlate to how we've arranged the rail network's navigation.
