Factorio is not color vision deficiency friendly

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_blin ... _blindness

It would be nice to have a color blind mode so that these people could tell red from green wires and the likes and also enjoy this awesome game.

Related topics I'm interested in:

https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... =32&t=5038 FactorioCAD mod.
That probably goes too far, since it also stops animations.

https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... =32&t=1184 Highcontrast mod.
The original factorio graphics was schematic and way easier to tell apart.
While that's not useful for completely colorblind, it sure would help those with partial color vision.
Furhtermore it could be a good starting point for a texture pack for the former case....
If only the person behind it wasn't busy coding factorio...

Thanks for pointing out those mods, they are kind of extreme but should be included in the vanilla version of the game :)
Installing mods can propose another problem for people whom are not very tech-savvy.
Picking different color combinations, or a different kind of line drawing, solid, dashed, dotted comes to mind, would work in many cases.
