[0.9.8] Graphics problems - Mac OS

I load up the game, I'm on a mac by the way, and the menu is fine. I then load up the campaign or anything and this is what I get

Can anyone help, i've tried re-installing it, but to no avail.

Have you tried the latest experimental version? 0.10.4 contained a fix for texture issues on Linux, maybe it fixes this as well?

I've downloaded it, and it still wont work, and it's the exact same problem

Did you check the Known Issues thread before posting this?

Broken graphics (mostly on MacOSX)

Most often not enough Video Memory Ram (or VRAM is used by other processes).

hotfix 1: Enable low graphics mode (see viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3077, viewtopic.php?f=41&t=3303)
hotfix 2: Quit other VRAM heavy programs (i.e. web browser, remove second screen).

FischSandwich is right - to me seems like VRAM issue. We do have quite a few tasks in our TODO list to "dehungryfi" (today I feel creative ) Factorio when it comes to VRAM. For now low-graphics and not running othe apps is the only option. Putting this to pending if the problem persists let us know.
