The idea -I would assume- is, to only use large interface scaling on displays with high enough resolution for this to not happen.

Correct.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Correct.
I am on 1920x1080, which is still considered "HD" and one of the larger resolutions without resorting to something ridiculous like 4K.

And it is not like I tried 300% GUI scaling; the above image was taken at 150% scale, barely a large increase.

What you have essentially said is that in order to use the larger interface settings that my motor control issues require, I would need to spend like $500 on a 4K monitor and another $800+ on a GPU capable of supporting that. This is not acceptable.

Not to mention, that would not help anyways; in order to increase the scale of the inventory or such windows, you also must increase the scale of the right-hand panel, as they are all affected by the same option. And the right-hand panel would just go offscreen again.

If there are concerns over "how to fit the panel if the screen is not big enough", my suggestion is to either clamp the scale on a GUI "window" by window basis to force it to stay onscreen, or to allow the user to change the scale of individual GUI windows. After all, I can handle small text just fine; small buttons are the problem.

...Actually, I am going to open that as a feature request.
