I have Power Armor Mk2 with 7 Exoskeletons. I approached a couple of big and behemoth spitters to attack them. When I got in range of their attack they turned 180 degrees (away from my direction) and performed their acid attack. When I ran away and approached again, they again turned 180 and did their acid attack.
I assume they are incorrectly (or perhaps correctly - before I have stopped to attack) anticipating my future position based on the speed of my exoskeleton.

I figured it was related to anticipation calculations - but it's quite comical to see the spitters stop, turn 180, split, and then resume chasing the player.

Thanks for the report.
As far as I can see in my tests the attack prediction works correctly. Maybe the mechanic deserves another pass through and some kind of hybrid solution of target leading and homing projectiles, but current behavior is not a bug
