I always see faces!

When I look onto the map I see faces.

Indeed, that one was one of the first faces I recognised. Perhaps I look to some of former versions of the map to make a photo without buildings on it.

When I look onto the map I see faces.

It's called "pareidolia." Basically the human brain is just a huge pattern-matching engine, so whenever it sees something it can't classify - like, say, a cloud - it will still try to classify it as the closest pattern it can match. And the most important matches we have are faces, so whenever you see something that looks even a little like a face, your brain tries to go "that is totally a face."

Well, of course I know the phenomenon. I think the point of this thread is that Factorio reveals very much of those Faces. More than just pure random clouds.
