[0.17.6] Mining fluid consumption seems wrong

Post by cmtitan »

To gauge how much sulfuric acid I was using I disconnected one of my uranium mines from the sulfuric acid pipes in an attempt to see how much it uses. What I saw is that it uses 10 sulfuric acid once every 10 mined ore. The same has been observed when the connecting pipeline was severed, leaving a few pipes with sulfuric acid still hooked up to the mine: the drain in the pipes was consistent with the previous observation.

Diving into the game files uranium ore is listed as minable, requiring 10 sulfuric acid. This suggests that the intended consumption is 10 sulfuric acid per 1 ore, or 10 times what I observed.

If the consumption is correct then the 10 sulfuric acid per 10 ore feels strange - there is no clear reason then why it wouldn't be 1 per 1.

Thanks for the report however this is correct: it's 10 per 10 ore or 1 per ore.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
