Unable to do anything online

Started Steam and updated to 17.5 and I am now unable to see anyone on LAN, unable to see any public games in multiplayer and unable to get or update mods. Also when shutting down it dosen't seem to disconnect from the game and always says on Steam that I'm still playing only way to stop is to shut down Steam which then gives the message to wait till Factorio shuts down. Already uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no effect.

Also I logged out by mistake and it will not let me log back in again saying unable to find auth server.
