multiple starting areas

I'm kinda new to the game and playing with friends making rlly u guys call spaghetti bases haha but we were wondering, if the map with multiple starting areas and islands are out now or is that a player made map? I found it in the https://www.factorio.com/blog/post/fff-282 .

or is it still in development?

playing 17.2 atm
