[0.17.3] Power lines on the edge of network are crooked

I guess this is minor issue for just about everyone, but the power lines running between the new electric poles are not straight. This is incredibly frustating when trying to keep an aesthetically pleasing electric grid

Yea, this is a problem. Right up there, honestly, with the offset large power poles between railtracks.

I understand why it happened, but..... Urgh.

Came to the forum to post this. Instead will add a +1. I can no longer make everything look beautiful. I've tried to remove the poles and replace them many times but without fail one of them will end up twisted at an angle for some reason.

Yep, this bothers the heck out of me too. I thought I was doing something different from 0.16 and was gonna go load a save there but now I know its just the HD power poles.

I suppose you can extend the grid out further, but..... That is just not right.

The issue is that unlike the old poles, the top is offset based on the direction the medium pole is facing, and thus you end up with this horrifying mess.
Sure, they were angled, because of the base itself being semi-offset, but... Well it wasn't this bad before. How did this happen?

This makes me constantly want to nudge the poles to align those wires.
Between this and the big pole offset between rails it seems as if the art designers want to punish those of use with rampant OCD.

No, but it doesn't stop me from trying to get those darn wires to align.

Well there is a very wonky way of removing all wires and adding them in different order, sometimes that rotates a pole differently.
But this trick won't fix the problem we have with these offset new pole graphics.
