When right clicking on blueprint that's in the hotbar (specifically when the blue background is not "highlighted" [bright], due to the blueprint not being located in your inventory) the red "delete blueprint "button appears rather than "destroy blueprint" and not only removes the blueprint from the hotbar but also deletes it from the blueprint library. This is quite confusing at first because if the blueprint is in your inventory/hotbar you can "destroy" it, see the icon still there (albeit the background is no longer highlighted), do the exact same process again with the same icon [now says "destroy" rather than "delete"] , and the blueprint is entirely gone.
I anticipate that despite the fact I figured out this nuance, I'll still end up deleting a blueprint on accident in the future due to the fact that there are only two subtle differences between the processes: a non-highlighted blueprint background and a hover-text of "delete" rather than "destroy."

Well, the philosophy is to make it in a way, that opening a blueprint directly from the blueprint library or the action bar is the same thing, it opens the same window. So deleting of it also should work the same.
This will improve with the bluepring library changes, as you will see clearly that you opened a blueprint from the library, and we will probably also add a delete confirmation.

Thank you for getting back to me. I can see it's usefulness I was just caught off guard that I deleted blueprints.
P.S. I just launched a rocket in vanilla free play and I didn't end up deleting any more blueprints so far.
