[Mod Request] Transporter chests
Hi guys.
Not sure if this can be done.
This is an idea from minecraft. The enderchest.
A chest which can be colour coded (like how the trains can have there colour changed)
When you have two chests with the same colour code they will show the same inventory.
E.g.
Chest 1 (coded to blue) with 100 iron plates
Chest 2 (coded to blue) shows the same inventory as chest 1.
Chest 3 (coded yellow) shows no inventory, but if you change the code to blue it shows 100 iron plates.
Any ideas if this could be done?, and if so is anyone willing to work with me upon making this a reality?

It can be done in 0.17, a lot of code in control phase, custom GUI and unlimited chests. But it makes logistic too cheatty. Why not logistic bots?

Well, its more about flexibility, to be able to transfer items between one location and another, with out a UPS drop.. as we all know lots of bots and belts makes UPS!
this would be aimed at endgame, needing space science to research, and a lot of it! so extreme endgame

But this mod needs much more UPS as logistic bots! The most UPS friendly way to teleport is to simulate it with infinite energy, invisible cargo bots moving at ludicrous speed.
The only drawback is that they can't be limited to specific logistic chests.

It is, but performance will be better than syncing chest contents in on_tick.
