A sunday morning with green circuits

Post by disentius »

Messing around with factorio calc, i found this:

Ten belts in, four belts out, no leftovers.
Decided to build the damned thing. Had to be symmetric and have nice power pole placement of course.

That looks awesome! In my last main bus, my electronic circuits ran out too quickly. Definitely downloading this blueprint.

That is a very nice use of the filter splitters in the middle there. Never thought of that :)

Nice but boring. Any linear 2-components assembling could be deepened with this tapering outer supply bus.

I think this was more about:
Ten belts in, four belts out, no leftovers.
just an example of how much of the same "standard" 3:2 build you need to achiev that goal.
but the switching of iron/green in the middle is a very cool idea i must say

@GrumpyJoe:
Yes and Yes :)

I am sort of doodading along waiting for 0.17, and decided to find out how splitter priorities/filters can be used. Turns out there is A LOT I don't know about them yet. ;)

Why build a massive module without productivity and beacons?
You can get 6 almost fully compressed blue belts out of 4 blue belts copper in half the footprint. It'll even have better performance from less entities.

@Optera:

For Fun :)
My actual setup as soon as i have beacons and modules looks more like this:
