  Add some new buildings and chains for each kind.
  Be able to work with Oil since the beginning.
  Adjusted some vanilla recipes to be compatible with this mod.

This mod is not compatible with Angel´s mods yet, Kingarthur may work over it.

Keep in mind that mod isnt supposed to deal with oil refining, Angel´s already did a good job on that part in his set of mods and we already had enough chemistry in other pymods The focus here is to explore and extract several ways and do basic refinement and handling.

This mod, due the initial idea, wont be as big as pyHT or pyRO, so expect a less complicated mod. Even the complexity will be in the interaction with other pymods.


As a start, id love to collect some ideas for this mod to maybe add in the ones i had. So..start mulling over

Well right now I'd suggest things like more oil sources. Oil sands, fracking, unconventional things like algae that crap oil/ other hydro carbons.

better ways to get solid fuel maybe some alternatives to nylon and plastics recipes
non organic fertilizer alternative ways to get many organic bompounds( not he complex ones)

Organic stuff are a thing for pyAL. Solid fuel is ok, can be made, even i think we have tons of alternative stuff in pymods to burn with better efficiency.

plastic ok too. About propanes and methane...well, i dont wanna go deep into petrochemistry as i explaned, but i have plans for nafta.

Naphtha* since the one you mentioned is a usa organization
also nylon is more important then plastic tho nylon is plastic
well we can make plastic from nylon but not the other way around

methane can be made from syngas

Yes yes with nickel - but there're must another ways - enough with me and the fact that nickel is spent on nichrome tons

1 - No, its a thing for pyAL....one day.
2 - Same as above
3 - No, Angels already did a good job on it. We wont focus on chemistry here, i will try to keep oil processing as low as possible, just enough to run a py base.
4 - Sure it will have.
5 - I will think about tall oil yet, but for a rule, all fluids of this mod can be burn to make combustion mixtures.
6 - Yes.Nichrome, Nickel, Chromium and Nexelit are good catalysts.
7 - Basically as fuel to generate energy and make buildings run.
8 - Probably. Indirectly
9 - No glass, but rubber we may have as base ingredient.
10 -Oh yeah.

I must say i don't using PY mods with angel mods - all my mods becomes are huge rude mash of turmoil and achievements in the field of petrochemistry Arch666Angel for me no longer make sense
May be if someone can make addon for PYPH mod and add additional series of recipe for basic natural gas processes

I hope PYAL will be very big and will be rich in details and rich in a variety of ways with different resource interactions

I don't want to offend u, but if you look closely in the mod, we can see some creative gaps that another author can fill in.
For example i hope u'll create some mod for intermediate components for machines in factorio - just like in Xander mod - look for detailed study of electronics, belts, engines, for electric poles and some another points
U did interesting change with adding aramid aahahahahhhh serious step for realism

My goal was never realism or this game would be boring as fuck ehehe. If people complained so much with the parts of a circuit board in pyHT, imagine if they discover that chain would be 3X bigger to be a bit closer to a realistic setup. There´s a small line between fun and tedious and i dont want my suite to enter much into the tedious area.

Also, there´s always creative gaps in mods. We are usually a single person which make mods in free time and for fun. It´s impossible to cover all possibilities. If someone wanna go really deep into petrochemicals industry, feel free. I think what Angels did was the limit, things deeper than that (and believe me, its a lot deeper) will turn this game into an advanced chemistry class.
