Make the accumulator a 1x1 item

For a decade, Apple has built our computers and then poured the battery in, in order to fit the space. Surely Factorio could do the same? I would love to have the accumulator (perhaps with its powers and resources cut in 1/4) fill just a 1x1 area. Then we could fill all the dead area in our constructions with accumulators.

1.Entity count would increase.
2.Tiny challenge to fit 4x4 would eliminate.
3.Annoying sound would everywhere.

And for what? For your laziness?
