[0.16.51] Crash on second start up after shutting down the game

Hi everyone!

This is my first post to the forum, but I have a irritating issue that I can't get rid of.
If I do a fresh start of my computer and start Factorio, everything works fine.
The problem comes after I shut down the game, and try to start Factorio a second time after a while.
It seems to load fine, but at around 80% it gets stuck, show a black screen and nothing more.
If I enter Alt+F4, the black screen disappears, and the loading screen reappears again, still stuck.
Another Alt+F4 and I'll get the "Game crashed" screen with the optional "Do you want to see the bugreport?"

The only mod I have active is the RealisticReactor mod, and I also have the Rampant mod installed, but not active.
It's annoying that I have to restart my computer every time I wish to play Factorio (which is all too often :D).
Hope you can get any information out of this, and as this doesn't seem to be related to any save games I haven't included any.

This should no longer happen with the next release, you can try to force opengl in the meantime: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9300

Thanks for the report.
My theory is that DirectX 9 didn't like s fresh graphics driver update (411.63 was quite new at that time), and my hope is 0.17 won't have these problems with DirectX 11.
Anyway, due to the crashing code not existing in 0.17 and entire sprite loading being handled differently (it doesn't changed render targets in loadSprites() anymore) I mark this problems as resolved.
Please, let us know if you have any more problems after 0.17 is released.
