Missing icons on cobinators. Is that a setting?

I last played ver.15 last year and the settings icons were just there on the combinators. Now I just started playing .16 and there are no icons, just directional arrows.

Is there a setting somewhere I miss-clicked or have they been removed in ver.16

I've looked in settings and Mod options but I just haven't noticed anything that would cause this.

Thanks for posting this. Constant combinators with no icons by default have been extremely annoying.

Bad default, but at least it seems fixable. I will have to try it tonight.
