Currently if a mod breaks on update, if you don't want to update that mod then you can't update any other mod.
Use case: there is a great Better Axes mod, but the latest update only works for new games. In old games the mod breaks and the tools are lost.
I have old games I'm not done with yet, and I want to keep other mods updated. But I can't because updating means updating Better Axes.
So it'd be nice to be able to check a box that says "don't update this one".
Of course ideally the author should fix this bug, but hasn't responded to any comments at the current portal; it's likely RL is getting in the way.
Option not to update specific mods
Re: Option not to update specific mods
Until this feature is (I say "is" figuratively because it may not be) implemented, the best thing to do right now if possible is to uninstall and reinstall said mod that you want to be updated individually, because reinstalling gives you the update version without having to update anything else.
Re: Option not to update specific mods
In 0.17 you can select which mods you want to update.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
