Re: Advanced Circuits production
Putting cables on a belt doesn't slow this way down? I long ago gave up trying that because it is just so slow without inserter bonus.
Nice and compact though, if needed in tight spaces.

Re: Advanced Circuits production
The most stuff is needed by the el. circuits, which are handled with inserters. The advanced circuits need only 4 wires every 8 seconds, which are no prob to handle with belts.
But I would not mix both productions. They are independent, for example a fourth wire assembly is needed only for the adv. circuits, currently unbalanced...

Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.

Re: Advanced Circuits production
Advanced circuits need circuits, plastic, and cables in a 1:1:2 ratio. This fits perfectly with a circuit/plastic belt and a cable/cable belt. The 8-second production timer gives you plenty of time to load everything.starxplor wrote:Putting cables on a belt doesn't slow this way down? But if you're going for a compact design, belts take too much space.

I really need to make more with the wagon.

Re: Advanced Circuits production
Design with wagon is fine but have one problem. Absolutely zero control over production and wagon can be easily flooded by one material and all will stop.
Re: Advanced Circuits production
Would some filtered slots in the wagon not take care of that problem?Neotix wrote:Design with wagon is fine but have one problem. Absolutely zero control over production and wagon can be easily flooded by one material and all will stop.
I will try some wagon set-up's for sure.

Without a shared wire buffer sometimes one of the wire inserters from the middle assembler keeps filling only one of the circuit asembler while the other inserter can't catch up.

This is for Modules.
The ratio is for productivity modules.
If u left enough room, Speedy Bacon is very effective.

Are you deliberately overproducing green circuits?

Yes that is my Electronic circuit and Advanced circuit system. I have 2 of them and thinking of a 3nd one.sonic wrote:Are you deliberately overproducing green circuits?

Cool, I figured as much with the active provider chest taking in green circuits but wasn't sure.
I like the idea of a square design; if you decide to supply some of the materials via train or belt, you can inject them from any direction.
