Personal construction robots leave w/ construction materials
Construction robots launched from a personal roboport should already have the materials needed to build/repair. I don't see a reason against this. It's just a little annoying having to stop for those bots all the time.
Re: Personal construction robots leave w/ construction materials
Another solution to this would be to have bots not launch if they need to get something from the player and the player is running faster than the bots can move.

Or not launch when the player is moving faster than they can (averaged over the last second or something). I hate bots jumping out of moving trains.

Added to viewtopic.php?f=80&t=20566 Changes for the Personal Roboport
Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.

+1
- Bots should not launch if the player is moving faster than they can follow.
- Bots should not launch without the necessary materials.
- Bots should not be assigned jobs unless they are in the player's inventory. It is beyond stupid to assign a job to a bot that is out of charge and 10 minutes away (IRL) from reaching the player. And yet... that happens.
- Bots should lose the job assignment if they haven't completed it 15 seconds after launch, to give other bots a chance to do the j
- Out of charge bots should not be counted as being in the player's roboport if they are more than 1 minute flight from the player. When they finally reach the player they can go straight into the player's inventory.
